1. Introduction

Best GLP-1, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website www.bestglp1.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit the Site. Please read this policy carefully. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. For the collection and processing of health questionnaire data, explicit consent is required at the point of questionnaire submission (see the consent acknowledgment on the eligibility form). That consent may be withdrawn at any time by emailing privacy@bestglp1.com.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

Information You Provide

When you use our eligibility questionnaire or related calculators, you may voluntarily provide:

  • First name
  • Sex (male or female), used for medical eligibility math
  • Age range (e.g., 18–30, 31–59, 60+)
  • Height
  • Current weight and target weight
  • Health conditions you select from a checklist (such as Type 2 diabetes, pregnancy, or pancreatitis) used to determine GLP-1 eligibility
  • Email address (when you submit the quiz, sign up for the newsletter, or apply to the affiliate program)

We compute derived values from these inputs (such as your BMI and an eligibility status) and store them alongside your submission. The health-related information you provide is sensitive personal information. While we are not a HIPAA-covered entity, we handle this information in accordance with applicable state health data privacy laws, including the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 70.372), the California Confidential Medical Information Act (Cal. Health & Safety Code §§ 56 et seq.), and the FTC’s Health Breach Notification Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 318). We do not use your health information for targeted advertising purposes.

  • Operating system
  • Referring URLs and exit pages
  • Pages viewed and time spent on pages
  • Device identifiers
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see our Cookie Policy)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the Site and its features
  • Generate your personalized results page, including your eligibility status and provider recommendations
  • Store your quiz submission under a unique identifier so that you (and only you, via the link we email you) can return to your results
  • Communicate with you, including responding to inquiries and sending the results email or other informational emails you have opted into
  • Analyze usage trends and improve the Site’s content and functionality
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activity (including spam filtering on affiliate applications)
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your health-related responses to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. The eligibility status shown on the Site is informational only and is not a medical determination.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, we do permit advertising partners to set cookies and similar technologies on this Site that may enable cross-context behavioral advertising, which can constitute “sharing” of personal information under CCPA/CPRA and similar state privacy laws. You may opt out at any time via the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: We may share data with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as analytics, email delivery, hosting, and database infrastructure. The principal categories we use today include:
    • Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads— for site analytics, advertising measurement, and conversion tracking. Behavior governed by Google’s privacy policy and our consent settings (see Section 5). We do not deploy Google Ads, Google Analytics, or any other third-party tracking or advertising code on any page where you enter health information or view your eligibility results.
    • Hosting and database providers — to host the Site and store quiz submissions.
    • Email delivery providers — to send results emails and other transactional or marketing emails you have opted into.
  • Affiliate partners: When you click through to a third-party GLP-1 provider, that provider may collect information directly from you subject to their own privacy policy. We may receive anonymized, aggregate-only referral counts from those partners to measure referrals. We do not receive individual-level user data from affiliate partners. We do not share your health questionnaire responses or derived health data with affiliate partners. We execute Data Transfer Agreements with all affiliate partners restricting their use of any referred-user data to the referral measurement and GLP-1 provider functions described in this policy, prohibiting re-sale of referred-user data, and requiring deletion of such data upon our request.
  • Legal requirements: We may be obligated to disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business transfers:In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. In any such transaction, we will provide you with at least 30 days’ advance notice by email before your health questionnaire data is transferred to any successor entity with materially different privacy practices and provide you an opportunity to request deletion of your health data prior to the transfer.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience on the Site, analyze traffic, and understand how visitors interact with our content. For detailed information about the cookies we use and how to manage them, please see our Cookie Policy.

6. Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including GLP-1 medication providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site you visit through links on our Site.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Health Breach Notification

In the event of a breach of security involving your personal health record information (as defined under the FTC’s Health Breach Notification Rule, 16 C.F.R. Part 318, effective July 29, 2024), we will: (a) notify you at the email address associated with your submission within 60 calendar days of discovering the breach; (b) notify the Federal Trade Commission within 60 calendar days (or within 10 business days if 500 or more individuals are affected); and (c) cooperate fully in any required regulatory notification process. 8. Data Retention

We retain health questionnaire data (health conditions, weight, height, derived BMI and eligibility status) for 12 months after your last activity on the Site, after which it is permanently deleted unless otherwise required to be retained pursuant to law or regulation. Email subscriber records and associated contact information are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. We fulfill verified deletion requests within 30 days. Operational and analytics data (server logs, usage analytics) is retained for 24 months.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information. To exercise any of them, email privacy@bestglp1.com with the request and the email address associated with your quiz submission so we can verify it.

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Opt-out of marketing email: Opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send.
  • Opt-out of targeted advertising / sharing: Use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer to disable ad-tracking on this device. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, but allowing advertising cookies to load may qualify as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state laws.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected, request deletion or correction of that information, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We honor verified requests through the contact method above and treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of sale/sharing.

Other U.S. state privacy laws

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas (eff. July 1, 2024), Montana (eff. Oct. 1, 2024), Oregon (eff. July 1, 2024), Delaware (eff. Jan. 1, 2025), Iowa (eff. Jan. 1, 2025), Indiana (eff. Jan. 1, 2026), Tennessee (eff. July 1, 2025), Minnesota (eff. July 31, 2025), Maryland (eff. Oct. 1, 2025), and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising. We respond to verified requests submitted via the contact method above and to GPC signals where required by state law.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Our lawful bases for processing are: (a) your consent (e.g., submitting the questionnaire, opting in to email, enabling ad-tracking cookies), (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site (this basis applies to operational, security, and analytics data only — not to special category health data), and (c) compliance with legal obligations. For special category health data (GDPR Article 9), our exclusive lawful basis is your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International Data Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. For transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we rely on European Union Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, for UK transfers, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) as the applicable international data transfer mechanism. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Ad-tracking is disabled on this device and cannot be re-enabled while the GPC signal is active.

Washington State — My Health My Data Act (MHMDA)

If you are a Washington State resident, you have additional rights regarding your “consumer health data” under RCW 70.372. Consumer health data includes health conditions, weight, BMI, and eligibility status you provide through our questionnaire. Your rights: (a) confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data; (b) access a list of third parties with whom we have shared it; (c) withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@bestglp1.com (we will cease processing within 15 business days); and (d) request deletion of your consumer health data. We do not use consumer health data for advertising or marketing purposes and do not sell consumer health data.

Authorized agents and appeals

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf where state law allows; we may require proof of authorization. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will review the appeal within the time required by applicable law.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. For material changes to how we collect, use, or share your health information, we will provide advance notice by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect and obtain fresh consent where required by applicable law. For non-material updates, your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
