Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better browsing experience, and supply information to site owners. This Cookie Policy explains how Best GLP-1, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on bestglp1.com (the “Site”).
2. Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the Site to function properly. They enable core features such as page navigation, access to secure areas, and remembering your preferences within a session. The Site cannot function correctly without these cookies.
Analytics Cookies
We use analytics cookies to understand how visitors interact with the Site. These cookies collect information such as which pages are visited most often, how long visitors spend on the Site, and whether users encounter any errors. This data helps us improve the Site’s performance and content. We may use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics for this purpose.
Functional Cookies
Functional cookies allow the Site to remember choices you make (such as questionnaire responses or display preferences) and provide enhanced, personalized features. These cookies may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we use on our pages.
Marketing and Advertising Cookies
These cookies are used to deliver advertisements that are relevant to you and your interests. They may also be used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Marketing cookies are usually placed by advertising networks with our permission and may track your browsing activity across different websites.
Specific Cookies and Storage Used on This Site
The table below lists the principal cookies and similar technologies we use today. Cookie names, providers, and lifetimes set by third-party services (such as Google) may change over time and reflect typical defaults at the time of writing.
| Name | Set by | Category | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| glp1_ad_consent | bestglp1.com (first-party) | Essential / Functional | Stores your ad-tracking preference (granted or denied) from the “Your Privacy Choices” modal. | ~10 years |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Analytics | Distinguishes unique users for site analytics. | 2 years |
| _ga_<container> | Google Analytics 4 | Analytics | Persists session state for the GA4 property. | 2 years |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads (conversion linker) | Marketing | Attributes conversions to the ad click that brought you to the Site. Set only when ad-tracking is enabled. This pixel is suppressed on health questionnaire pages so that individual health responses are never transmitted to Google. | ~90 days |
| NID, IDE, and similar | Google (third-party domains) | Marketing | Used by Google for ad personalization and measurement across sites. Set only when ad-tracking is enabled. | Up to 13 months |
| quiz_session_id, quiz_session_email, quiz_session_first_name, quiz_session_age, quiz_session_bmi, glp1_quiz_form_state | bestglp1.com (first-party) | Essential / Functional (browser sessionStorage, not a cookie) | Remembers your in-progress quiz answers and links them to your results page so you can navigate without losing your place. The contents of this storage (including any health questionnaire responses) are not transmitted to any third party and are deleted when your browser session ends. | Until you close the browser tab |
We also use the GTM data layer (an in-page JavaScript object, not a cookie) to pass events to Google Tag Manager. Additional third-party cookies may be set by services we add in the future; when that happens we will update this list.
Third-party cookies and pixels not listed in the table above will not be loaded on this Site without your prior consent. We review and update the cookie table at least once per calendar year and will revise this Cookie Policy to reflect any newly introduced third-party cookies before they are deployed.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on the Site are set by third parties, including analytics providers and advertising networks. We use Google Tag Manager to load these tags, which may include services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other advertising or measurement partners. These third parties may use cookies to collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites. We do not control third-party cookies and encourage you to review the privacy and cookie policies of these third parties.
4. Your Choices and Consent
When you first visit the Site, ad-tracking technologies are enabled by default so we can measure ad performance and fund the Site. You can change your preference at any time by clicking “Your Privacy Choices” at the bottom of any page on the Site. Your choice is stored in a cookie on this device and applied via Google Consent Mode to the tags we load through Google Tag Manager.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we automatically treat that as an opt-out of ad-tracking, and it cannot be re-enabled while the signal is active. Where you have previously accepted non-essential cookies via the consent banner, a GPC signal received during or after that session will prevail and override your prior banner consent going forward.
Essential (strictly necessary) cookies are loaded regardless of your consent choice, as they are required for the Site to function. Analytics cookies are placed only with your prior consent (for EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors) or unless you have exercised your opt-out right (for US visitors). Analytics cookies are not essential and are never treated as such.
5. How to Manage Cookies in Your Browser
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View the cookies stored on your device
- Delete some or all cookies
- Block all cookies or only third-party cookies
- Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is placed
Please note that blocking or deleting certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Site and prevent some features from working as intended.
Here are links to cookie management instructions for common browsers:
- Chrome:Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox:Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari:Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge:Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature. There is currently no uniform standard for how companies should respond to DNT signals, and we do not respond to DNT at this time.
We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, ad-tracking is automatically disabled on the Site and cannot be re-enabled while the signal is active.
7. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. We will post any updates on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. For material changes that affect how we collect, use, or share your health questionnaire data, we will provide at least 30 days’ advance email notice to affected users before the change takes effect, and you will have the opportunity to request deletion of your health data prior to the change.
